COURSE 4 (MEDIA LAB)

Through this course which is the last course in Zanzibits, students continue in web design develop and in this course each student have to come up with his/her ideas by thinking about any company or any organization and to design web site, logo and poster for it. Along to continue with the assignment we learning CSS, HTML and JAVA SCRIPT which is the last topics in course 4 or Media lab. In this course I continue to design a web site, logo and a poster for the assignment, and my site is about a shop which called ZAMANI CURIO SHOP after thinking.

COURSE 3 (WEB DESIGN)

According to the development of learning in Zanzibits Center for Film and Multimedia the third course called Web design. In this course I leant how to design Web sites. Web sites are the web pages which contain information.
From the foundation of course one and two I already have ability to know different colors and they relate from one to another and this is one among of the basic things in web design. In course three I designed different web sites, within my group which called ukindu group which held our project called Raphia zanzibar.In addition about course three I learnt about photography,presentation skills and editing. And I have edited different shot moves in zanzibits which we guided by two teachers from Holland Dubbie & Rubben, about photography and presentation we were guided by the teacher Catherine from Bolivia.

After finish course one the next course which is follow is called IN SIDE THE WEB. In this course students study about colors and to improve to design different presentations trough colors .

COURSE 1 (BEHIND THE SCREEN)

Zanzibits provide 4 courses according to their syllabus in a year.
The first course called BEHIND THE SCREEN which starts with introduction of computer, to design poster, business card and how to use INTERNET.
Through this course I was known nothing about computer but for slowly I stated to play with it although I was very coward but everyday go on I improved to make different things within my class works. In course one I design poster, business card etc

ZANZIBITS NGOs.

Zanzibits is the centre for film and multimedia which located in Zanzibar stone Town which it’s aim is to help zanzibaries youths and motivate in the computer technology for free of charges under the director Guy mullens ,Znzibits take 15 students every year.

HOW I JOINED WITH ZANZIBITS NGOs

After finish my secondary education in 2007 I stayed at home about 1 year without nothing to do ,one day when I sat with my neighbor told me that “ salum what do you do these days?” I answered that I have nothing to do these days, so she advise me to join in Zanzibits NGOs which is now in AL-RIYAMI ACADEMY SCHOOL. I did an interview and luckily I was selected to study in that school. For sure when I started to study about computer it was as miracle to me this because I had never touch it before.
